habi-feedback

Bio-feedback is the process of making visible, or experiential, data about one’s own body, for the purpose of altering one’s own actions or habits. Coining the phrase habi-feedback, I’d like to point you to a handful of similar devices designed to train ourselves to lower our own energy consumption. One example is the Flower Lamp, link off to read more.

The form of the Flower Lamp reflects the energy used. It “blooms” when energy consumption in a household has been low for some time. So in order to make the lamp more beautiful, a change in behaviour is needed.
